How Harry Got Started

From a young age, Harry Maurer was determined to be a magician. At 13, he performed his first nightclub show, and by high school, he had arranged his class schedule to leave early each day to perform matinee and evening shows at a nightclub on the New Jersey shore.

Throughout college, Harry balanced academics with performance, learning from professional Broadway acting coaches and scenic and lighting designers at Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts. Simultaneously, he entertained onstage nightly at the New York Playboy Club, setting a record for the most performances of any solo entertainer in the circuit with 1,300 shows.
